I want to thank
everyone for making our 2023 Fall/Winter sale so successful! It appeared that in
today's economy many people were looking for ways to stretch their budget
dollars a bit further. I think
that’s
where Kids Haven excelled! We helped consignors make a little extra
money
by selling the items they no longer needed. We helped shoppers increase
their
purchasing power by offering them items they needed at greatly reduced
prices. And we helped many local families by donating over 3,700 items
to deserving local organizations, agencies and families in need. I
thank everyone for their participation and support!
Kids
Haven's 42nd sale included 266 consignors who brought in over 26,000
items! And our time tested work processes and custom computer software
accurately accounted for over 99.7% of them! Here are some summary
stats from our 2023 Fall/Winter sale: 80 consignors sold more than 75%
of their items
and 227 consignors sold more than 50% of their items! The median sales
rate
for all consignors was 67% and over 74% of the items that were sold were
sold
at full price! These stats indicate that most consignors were careful to
bring in only
their better items and price them to sell. So once again I thank
everyone who participated in Kids Haven's 41st sale and made it so
successful!
