I want to thank
everyone for making our Spring/Summer sale so successful! It appeared that in
today's economy many people were looking for ways to stretch their budget
dollars a bit further. I think that’s
where Kids Haven excelled! We helped consignors make a little extra money
by selling the items they no longer needed. We helped shoppers increase their
purchasing power by offering them items they needed at greatly reduced
prices. And we helped many local families by donating over 2,100 items to deserving local organizations, agencies and families in need. I
thank everyone for their participation and support!
Kids Haven's 41st sale included 209 consignors who brought in almost 21,000 items! And our time tested work processes and custom computer software accurately accounted for over 99.7% of them! Here are some summary stats from our Spring/Summer 2023 sale: 24 consignors sold more than 90% of their items
and 189 consignors sold more than 50% of their items! The median sales rate
for all consignors was 73% and over 77% of the items that were sold were sold
at full price! These stats indicate that most consignors were careful to bring in only
their better items and price them to sell. So once again I thank everyone who participated in Kids Haven's 41st sale and made it so successful!
